Results and how long they last
01.
Muscle volume gradually begins to decrease about 2 weeks after treatment, and a beautiful V-line can typically be expected after 1–2 months on average.
02.
Results vary depending on muscle mass and lifestyle, but the glands gradually return to their original size over 6–8 months. For continued results, we recommend repeat treatments every 4–5 months.

Q&A
Q.
Can I go back to daily life right after the procedure?
Swelling after the treatment does not last long, and after about one to two hours you can exercise, use a sauna, wash your face or wear makeup, but it is better to avoid alcohol and smoking for about a day.
Q.
Is the dosage for jaw Botox fixed?
50 units (U) is the basic dose. If the dose of Botox is not enough for the amount of muscle, after the treatment one or both sides of the square jaw area can bulge out as if a candy were held in the mouth, the so-called candy cheek phenomenon.
Q.
How is it different from contouring injections?
Jaw Botox relaxes the muscle so that a face made square by the jaw muscle looks softer, while contouring treatments break down unnecessary fat to shape the facial line. Both are treatments that make the face look smaller, but they work on different principles.

What should I keep in mind?
Please read the precautions carefully and follow them closely.
-
You may wash your face and apply makeup 2–3 hours after the treatment.
-
For 3–7 days after the treatment, please avoid heavy drinking, smoking, saunas and steam rooms, hot baths, and strenuous exercise to prevent inflammation.
-
Avoid rubbing or irritating the treated area (please avoid deep massages or meridian massage for one month).
-
After treatment, it is best to avoid very chewy or hard foods, as they can shorten how long the Botox lasts and cause pain.
-
You may feel some stiffness in the treated area after the procedure, but this is temporary and no cause for concern.
-
As an injectable treatment, mild bruising and swelling may occur depending on your skin condition, but these subside quickly.
